Pecan and cinnamon biscuitsđŸȘ



Ingredients:

125ml butter

125ml icing sugar

1 tsp vanilla essence

250ml self raising flour

250ml Pecan nuts


For coating :

125ml castor sugar

1.5 tsp cinnamon powder


Method:

Preheat oven to 180 deg

1. Cream butter and icing sugar together until light and fluffy

2. Add in vanilla essence and Pecan nuts.

3. Sift in flour, a little at a time until a soft dough is formed.



4. Break and roll into small balls.

5. Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.

6.  Mix together castor sugar and cinnamon powder

7. Allow biscuits to cool for 5 minutes and then roll into the castor sugar mixture.





Tips:

Always allow butter to soften and reach room temperature before you start baking


For best results, I had used Pecan and hazelnuts and pulsed it in a coffee grinder 😜
