METHOD:
1.In a medium sized bowl, add flour and butter, rub together to resemble bread crumbs.
2. Add enough milk to make a nice soft dough, must be soft enough to roll into a ball in the middle of the bowl.
3. Cover with cling wrap or a dishcloth and leave to stand for about half an hour.
4. Roll out round puris with rolling pin on a floured board.
5. Fry puris for about 10-15 seconds on each side, it will puff up whilst frying.
I had served this with battered patha, unfortunately I do not have a picture.
Battered patha on a non stick frying pan is the best way to cook patha and have a slight crisp to it.
For this you will need, cake flour, 1 tsp chilli powder, half a tsp salt and enough water to make it into a paste.
Heat oil in a non stick frying pan and fry for 2-3 mins on each side.
Serve with a few drops of lemon juice.
